Import contacts from Mailchimp

Bring your existing contacts straight into Trackdrop

If you've been building your list in Mailchimp, you don't need to start from scratch in Trackdrop. The Mailchimp import lets you pull your contacts across in a few clicks, with no spreadsheets involved.

Connecting your Mailchimp account

From Settings → Integrations, click to connect your Mailchimp account. You'll be taken through a standard Mailchimp login and authorisation flow, after which Trackdrop has read access to your audiences.

Running the import

Once connected, select which Mailchimp audience you want to import. If you want to immediately organise the imported contacts into a tag — for example, to keep your Mailchimp list separate from other contacts — you can assign a tag as part of the import.

Trackdrop checks for duplicates automatically. If a contact with the same email address already exists in your organisation, they won't be imported again, so you won't end up with double entries.

After the import

Your imported contacts are available immediately in your contacts list, with their source recorded as a Mailchimp import. From there, you can tag them, include them in sends, or manage them like any other contact.
