Why is my download not working?
If you're having trouble downloading tracks from a promo you’ve received, here are the most common reasons and how to fix them:
Downloads aren't available for this promo
The artist or label can choose to make a promo streaming-only. If there are no download buttons on the page, this is likely the case. You'll need to contact the sender directly if you need the files.
You need to verify your identity first
Trackdrop checks that downloads only reach the people a promo was actually sent to. If you haven't completed the verification step yet:
Go back to your inbox and open the original promo email.
Click the link inside. This brings you to a verification screen.
Enter the 6-digit code from the follow-up email (or click the link in that email).
Once verified, you'll have full access to the promo, including downloads (if available).
NB: If you switch to a different browser or device, you may need to verify your email again.
Your browser blocked the download
Some browsers block automatic file downloads by default. If you clicked the download button but nothing happened:
Check your browser's downloads folder in case the file may already be there.
Look for a blocked download notification near the address bar.
‘Allow downloads’ from the site in your browser settings.
Try a different browser if the issue persists.
Still having trouble?
First, try reaching out to the person who sent you the promo so they can check the promo's status or resend your link.
