Which formats can I download?
Labels and senders can choose to offer downloads of the content in their promo.
Trackdrop offers four audio formats to download, so you can choose whatever works best for your workflow:
Format | Type | Best for |
WAV | Lossless | The most universally compatible high-quality format, great for DAWs, DJ software, and archiving. |
AIFF | Lossless | Apple-based workflows and audio software. |
FLAC | Lossless, compressed | High-quality archiving, with smaller file sizes than WAV or AIFF. |
MP3 | Compressed (320kbps) | Reference listening, quick playback, and saving storage space. |
Choosing your format
Downloading individual tracks
Look for the format selector at the top of the track list — it shows AIFF | WAV | MP3 | FLAC. Click your preferred format before downloading:
Downloading a full release
When you use Download All, select your format from the dropdown and all tracks will be bundled into a single ZIP file in that format.
