Trackdrop is a platform used by record labels and artists to share new music releases (singles, EPs, and albums) with music industry professionals like journalists, playlist curators, and radio programmers.

If you've received an email via Trackdrop, it's because a label or artist added you to their mailing list to keep you up to date on their new releases.

You can opt out of receiving these emails at any time. Every promo email sent through Trackdrop includes an unsubscribe link, so you're always in control of what lands in your inbox.

How to unsubscribe

Via the promo email you received

Step 1: Open a promo email you've received

Find a promo email from the label or artist you'd like to unsubscribe from.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the email and click "unsubscribe here"

At the very bottom of every promo email, you'll see a line that reads:

‘You are subscribed to the [Label Name] mailing list on Trackdrop. If you no longer want to receive these emails, unsubscribe here.’

Click the words ‘unsubscribe here’ to open the unsubscribe link.

Step 3: Confirm your choice on the unsubscribe page

You'll be taken to a confirmation page on Trackdrop. It will show the label or artist's name and ask you to confirm.

You can choose to add a short comment to let them know why you're unsubscribing. This helps artists and labels understand their audience better, but it's completely optional.

Step 4: Done!

Once confirmed, you'll see a message letting you know you've been unsubscribed. You won't receive any further promo emails from that label or artist.

Changed your mind? If you unsubscribe and later want to rejoin a mailing list, you can do so right from the unsubscribe confirmation page. Just click Rejoin this mailing list.

Unsubscribing via your email client

Many email clients, including Gmail and Apple Mail, display an Unsubscribe button or banner at the top of emails on the site or app. You can use this feature from within your email provider to unsubscribe, too.

Still receiving emails after unsubscribing?

If you continue to receive promo emails after unsubscribing, it's possible the emails are coming from a different label or artist. Check the sender name in the email footer and unsubscribe from that one too.
