Sending your music to Mixcloud DJs

Trackdrop was built by the team at Mixcloud, and our integration allows you to reach a new audience of DJs and curators who already play genres related to your promos. Simply pick your genres, choose your filters, and Trackdrop finds relevant DJs on Mixcloud for you.

NB: This is an early access feature, and is currently only available to select organizations. We look forward to making this available to more labels and artists in the near future!

Who receives your promo

Your promo will be shared with DJs who actively upload to Mixcloud, and who typically upload content that matches the genres for the tracks you’re sending out. 

You’ll also be able to filter by country, upload frequency, and number of followers, so you can target exactly the types of Mixcloud creators you’re looking for.

What DJs receive

Mixcloud delivers your promo directly to the recipients. Depending on their settings they’ll receive a notification email, a direct message from a verified Trackdrop account, or both. This will include:

• your promo title, artist name and label name

• your artwork and description

• genres, release date, format and tracklist

• a short note on why they received it, based on the genres they play

• a link to view and listen to your promo

How to send your promo

Sending your promo to Mixcloud DJs is easy, and you can do this alongside sending to your mailing list or creating a public promo. Simply toggle on ‘Mixcloud DJs’ in the distribution step; read more here: Choosing how your promo is distributed
